Garland 24 carat Gold Garland
The finish is of a rich 24 carat satin gold plated appearance and the Garland is etched with a “24 carat identification in addition to the Artecnica trademark and the designers name.
Significantly this is a LIMITED NUMBERED EDITION of 999 pieces with a certificate of authenticity signed by Tord Boontje.
The Garland is enclosed in a solid walnut case with a glass window and a 24k gold plated identification plaque.
Internally the Golden Garland lays on a beautiful intense red pure wool felt panel by Maharam.
The solid walnut box is made of individual rough-cut walnut planks which are smoothly finished only at the edges of the box.
The walnut is then sealed and finished in a natural wax finish.
Assembly instructions, the signed certificate of authenticity and the silicon rubber ring are enclosed in the case in an envelope.
All other specifications and the design pattern are identical to other Garlands (Brass, Silver Plated Brass, Black Chrome Steel and Rust Steel) currently in production with Artecnica.
The addition of this variation of such popular and award winning design in such precious material only goes to emphasize the extraordinary value of such design which is included the MOMA NY and Victoria and Albert Museum design collection.
Size of the assembled Garland is still approx. 10 by 10 by 10 and it is recommended to be used with the standard provided electrical cord with a 60 watt maximum rating light bulb.
The 24 carat Gold Garland is produced in China while the walnut case is produced in the USA.
