The inspiration is the cityscape of Istabul from minarets to mosques to the modern city and the Bosphorus.

But it could be any city in the world.

The non-stop continuation of a single undulating surface is divided into every need for the table so you can actually have an entire table connected by each function as a modular scape.

Morphescape is a modular dinnerware and tableware collection.

The collection reflects shared habits at the dining eg tapas dining centrally positioned for all or usage through traditional singular settings.

Due to the square base for each piece they all fit together and can be displayed like a puzzle.

Different configurations can be set on the table to either make a long central spine or small clusters.

The bottle with lid resembles the Galata tower in Istanbul.
While the oil / vinegar pieces resemble the mosques with their minarets.
The 4 candles holder resembles the Hagia Sophia.

The collection is made out of white glazed porcelain.

All pieces are food safe and dishwasher safe

It is made in Germany with pressure casting technology to ensure the highest quality and tolerances at the edges.

The lids of the oil and vinegar bottles are food safe, high quality plastics.

Inspired by the rooftops of Istanbul, New York-based designer Karim Rashid has designed everything a tabletop requires: plates, bottles, bowls, salt and pepper shakers, a creamer, a vase, a tealight holder, an ashtray, a toothpick holder and a candlestick holder â€" all neatly slotting into each other. We challenge you to find a piece that's missing.

This was the debut collection from Gaia & Gino, a scene-stealing tableware collection
